“Portals of Light”

An opening in the
clouds
the rays of sunlight
peek
unveiling a storms
damage
revealing those still
alive;
Seemingly darkness
stark
until these portals
of light
reminding all of
Father above
and his loving care
of each;
So many lessons to
teach
leading all in
greater love
changing into day the
night
finding the rainbows
ark;
All to endure and
survive
amid the worldly
carnage
thus portals of light
to seek
in openings in the
clouds!
