Messing up the average day

admitting having done wrong

when another would only deny

using excuses of denyability

otherwise simply little lies

and sometimes bigger ones

corrupting the justice system

but as a child only to admit

telling the truth about the wrong

smiling wondering what next

thinking not to being caught

seeing the frustration on a face

of the accuser denied a lie

hearing simple truth instead!
