Dependent upon the others

All my sisters and brothers;

 

Teaching me the way to go

Thus lessons of life to know;

 

Where the dangers all lurk

And duties not to me shirk;

 

Of what is safe for me to eat

The shade out of the heat;

 

How to know a Master’s call

And how to find my own stall;

 

A child of the flock am I today

Learning just now how to pray!
