Calling upon inner reserves

standing in the face of evil

torrential rains and winds

bending only enough to live

standing straight and true

one’s loyalty tested often

never beyond one’s ability

mortality a probation time

finding those who will stay

the course to Zion hard

showered with evil’s shard!
