Battle plans profusely drawn

each contender without rules

the only idea is to absolute win

games are played by machines

children, teenagers, adults all

competing in make-believe

while in reality there is found

mortal combat for the whole

pitting nation against nation

sending family against family

decrying all that was good

mocking that which is eternal

for the now and today game

this agon taking over society!
