Chided by the youth
went the warrior out
in the meadow standing
a buck in full arousal
waiting for the does
unknown of the warrior
seemingly like time
standing still for all
closer, closer the two
till all of sudden chaos
the buck leaps, jumps
the old warrior stands
holding a hand of hair
see warriors age well
as did our son today
40 and counting still
youth chiding no more
meadow again empty
the day has ended well!
