Seeing your overturned
gig
seeking to give you
service
yet you chase me off
again
as we’ve met before
again
you’d rather die in
vain
profanity laced speech
than to hear the truth
turn I to Father asking
‘in your service I
tired’
he agreeing releases me
helping others on the
way
leaving the worldly
behind
unable to discern their
why
but being obedient I go
unable to discern your
why!
