Top of the mountain
standing and enjoying
peaceful in the winds
none around blanked out
my mind my own to feel
closer to the extreme
peaceful in the pauses
snowboard in grasp
ready to begin the run
top to the bottom
further while yet
closer
embraced by warmth
closer to heaven alive
in this reverie of
mind!
