Called the bank today

‘trust me – we have it’

my deposit had cleared

same with the stores

going through my lists

over and over checking

emailing and calling

going and coming too

sometimes they call me

knowing I’ll call again

my mind at night sleeping

over and over telling me

‘trust me – we have it’!
