trying to
open locked eyes
imploring
the blind to see
the deaf
to hear the truth
even the
numb to feel
thousands
of years gone
nothing
learned from past
ingrained
within justifications
calling
good evil/evil good
regardless
of the truth
common
sense ignored
rather
to cash a check
spent in
mortality only
never
passing the veil!
