Kneeling
humbly this morning
ever grateful
for this new day
will it
be as we thought/hoped
only
tomorrows will show us
but
today grateful for blessings
knowing
1st,2nd,4th, will survive
ever
prayerful prayers answered
(ours
and many others asked)
giving this
our nation time
more now
to repent from past
calling
upon Father and Son
today we’ve
a new breath
a new
candle now to be lit
leaving
yesterday’s questions
will we
as a nation repent
and
again call upon God?
