Extended his hand eternally
generation to generation
centuries into the distances
waiting only for us to grasp;

His hand we’re to thus grasp
so many missed instances
with our misplaced adoration
lost who we are internally;

while busy at the malls/games
too engaged to even notice
deceived by worldly lies;

Missing our eternal ties
thinking ourselves as lotus
perennial as to our shames
