A still
small voice roars
within
Scriptures profound
proclaiming
his Son-ship
over and
over and over
others –
Prophets testify
so many
refuse to hear
believing
instead creeds
philosophical
dissertations
mingled
with same verses
reveling
in pelf received
while
generations are lost
great –
tremendous cost
so close
yet so very far
without
excuses thought
blaming
another naught
all is
there – read/weep
the same
voice then
the same
voice today
living
Prophets called
the
Gospel restored
so many
profess love
heeding
not the rules
hearing
not the truth
listening
to distractions
charismatically
played
over and
over and over
till
vain and repetitious
ignoring
the stilled voice!
