Feeble attempts to explain away

Pushing and pulling all today;

 

Building up smoke in screens

Billowing excited with screams;

 

Without sustenance quickly to die

With many beguiled asking why;

 

Politicians and lawyers one name

Plying their wicked trade insane;

 

Seeking power unlawfully corrupt

Smashing in the light ever abrupt;

 

Without sustenance quick to lie

Wanting freedoms like them to die!
