Hammer’s raise and
fall in tune
striking one nail at
a time today
at first alarm and
equal concern
then muted by the
repeats heard;
Thinking how this is
all so absurd
freedom being lost
able to discern
while in intellectual
logic to flay
till our society to
be found in ruin!
