Many
rushing to exit the city
un-realizing
the way blocked
police
and Para-military there
forcing
all back into the battle
allowing
those within to destroy
amid carnage
and blood-letting
when many
so found asleep
having
ignored the reality there
all to
be seen and understood
flight
is too late during the battle
allowing
no retreat or escape
bound by
the swords embrace!
