To gain in strength
to overcome
avoiding temptations
and pressure
seeking the
understanding of grace
adding the Lord’s
strength to ours
individually at first
and then family
find new strengths
yet unknown
the adversary makes
us strong
beguiling and
taunting us each
placing peers to
confront within
and the worldly lusts
without
standing firm in the
faith always
having the Lord’s add
his grace
after all we’ve done
to rebel evil!
