Immortal as a child
bound
life going ever so
slow by
wanting it to fast
forward
keys to the family
car/truck
going to the big kid
dances
a later curfew to be
found
oh in youth I was
profound
able to take extreme
chances
never to be old or
stuck
seeking immortalities
reward
now I sit and ponder
why
in this aging body
bound!
