Much work to be done
Independence Hall cleaned
many returning to homes
all with a price on them;
Wars from actions stem
as kids throwing stones
wisdom still to be gleaned
and wars need to be won;
The day after comes quick
resting not for a moment
demanding it’s time to be
where many fight and die;
The indolent may ask why
while freemen* thus see
having made a covenant
their paths of truth to stick!
