In careful perusal
seeking more light
reading the Gospel
trying to understand;

So many a Command
taught in the Gospel
opening our sight
in careful perusal!

What are we to be
what are we now
of what is our body
our mind, our heart;

We’re a divine part
a temple is our body
we’re to be as Thou
allowing us to see!
