Born”

If not the most
important
birth of a child foreordained
in these latter-days
foretold in the
Scriptures
repeatedly affirmed
confused as many
told to go pray
by the Scriptures
and local clergy
thus retired to woods
began his first vocal
prayer
after much struggle
appearing two personages
the Father addressing
him
‘this is my beloved Son
hear ye him’
thus began the
Restoration
foretold in all
Scriptures
Jesus’ kingdom returned
for which He can return
mocked persecuted
murdered
his life none could’ve
lived
yet he did and endured
never (as Paul) to deny
what he’d seen
his testimony sealed
in his blood
an innocent lamb
born this day
Joseph Smith, Jr.
a Prophet of God
this day to be born!
