A little background – we had been members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since March 1974 when this thought was transcribed. With my past my transition was somehow restless. Dealing with new attitudes and emotions wasn’t always easy. C

“We Whisper”

We whisper

I love you

But we shout

I hate you;

One in tenderness

In thoughtfulness

One in anger

In bitterness;

Had they been

But reversed

And you I

But not;

I love you

Shouted angerly

I hate you

In a whisper;

Would we still

Be angry

And not bitter

But thoughtful;

To think of

That which hurts

And to not regret

That which heals!
