“Watched and watched . . .”
(a little background…within the
Holy Temple there are many
feelings felt and heard even seen.
This was one such exchange)

from his childhood eyes
and though he was very young
he saw my grief unspoken
by the look in my eyes
as slowly I walked back
through the trip we’d taken
in our life together,
(such a short time);
Looking ahead to forever
when we’ll always be together
our vows across the alter
taken before God
where all eternity was said
and though my son’s childhood eyes
I’m reminded
that you’ve gone to prepare
our new home
and thus my grief is unspoken
felt by his eyes
who knows our love
is never ending . . .”
