“A New Day and Season”

Unbeknown to many
understanding not
seasons or reasons
they’ve plain forgot;
Christmas is strange
who is Christ child
in a worldly setting
something so wild;
Yet today we can
do good acts all
this is the season
sharing peace’s awe;
But rather than soil
we’ll enjoin in prayer
not the world’s peace
the Savior’s to share!
