Animals know
comes winter
no longer
slick and trim
scruffy
coats and gait
getting
warm for winter
minding
their appearance
maybe
not as pleasing
certainly
protection within
much
like some elderly
winter
coats not fancy
keeping
off the chill
closer
to winter’s call!
