There’s
small joy to be found
Many still
in sorrow bound;
Comforting
those so in need
Honor, commitment
to heed;
Today is
Veteran’s day
A time
of silence to pray;
Thankful
for sacrifices all
Hearing clear
freedom’s call;
Lifting
up our nation free
For those
no longer to see!
