Back in
the Yukon hills
or maybe
the Comstock
there
are still working mines
but most
long ago deserted
as owner
had accreted
played
out are the mines
leaving
behind only a lock
left only
ghost town frills;
Much the
same everywhere
empty minds
all played out
alcohol,
drugs, emptiness
political
correctness too
gone are working minds true
holes/crevasses
in darkness
screaming
skeletons shout
but
really does anyone care?
