When
one reads to comprehend
the
Scriptures come alive indeed
yet
when one reads to just omit
picking
and choosing to wander
supporting
only their arguments
justifying
their position or wealth
proclaiming
superior knowledge
making
God an after-thought
when
in discussion with others
subjects
of interest prevailing
leaving
many wondering today
what
is it I read and they read
for
surly they are not the same!
