A word can lift up a person

Or it can also shame a person;

 

Water can quench a thirst

Or a huge dam to burst;

 

Electricity can help to light

Or can take a life at night;

 

Fire can warm up a home

Or destroy all on its own;

 

A river can be a waterway

Or to cause flooding today;

 

For good can succor a brother

While evil can kill another;

 

Which will we thus recount

Which will we thus account?
