The date is ironic
2 – 18 – 19
as I’ve a brother
and a sister
and a nephew
all with birthdays
they’ll most likely
never read this
but that’s okay
for it’s up to us
to remember them
extended family
for which this world
has its purpose
and eternal meaning!
