“Bounded by Water”

A cork bouncing on the
sea
unable to see land
anywhere
waves too high too
strong
pretending to be more
a submarine enveloped
water pressures applied
but a bit too bouncy
felt
unable to fathom depth
just this always
wetness
till then realized a cavity
within mother’s womb
protected and loved
within
while bounded by water!
