“The Razor’s Edge”

When one trifles with
the Sacred
they play as if the
child with fire
knowing better but the
temptation
more than they can
stand or ignore
like the razor’s edge
to thoughts
merely to touch to
wound greatly
mixing Clorox and vinegar
once
needed no more to do to
kill
what then is the reason
to invite
such unreasoning into
one’s life
such as the razor’s
edge to ours?
