Maybe more will come within
the butterfly to carry me
an infants small hand to clasp
into their hearts and souls
allowing me a residence
able to be on the bare floor
providing warmth as I have
feeling the ravaged tears
mixed within theirs and mine
pleading with their voices
‘remember me – don’t forget!
