High in the mountain tops

seeking amid the trickles

finding only angel tears

further down the mountain

streams over rocks/boulders

more tears to be found

those of the wildlife grieving

watching their forest dying

soon to the rapids seeking

ranches and large pastures

now the tears on generations

one passing to the next

love-sacrifices-families

soon at the river to begin

small towns and farms

mixed now the tears

some of shame forlorn

others still love-families

then into the wider river

communities almost urban

scary the various tears found

still not the tears sought

then into the cities

horrific now the tears

enjoined with children’s

widows and the elderly

then to the docks/harbor

overflowing the tears

dredging so many varied

homeless-vagrants-lost

blended sparingly together

angels-wildlife-love-family

then into the real wilds

hateful-lost-homeless

dredging tears of time!
