As many Prophets before and since

each in turn expresses the truths

easy to understand and without fault

wherein each gave us the solution

while describing the problems

and thus making our quite easy

in all the synonyms of being meek

each in turn a characteristic of Father

and must assuredly of the Son

therefore are we listening at all

where we should be standing in awe

for the Father’s will – will be done

or as many do you not even bother

thinking to be meek means weak

liking instead the world breezy

ignoring our daily and life problems

thinking rhetoric is the only solution

and in the adversary’s web caught

come now let’s be not forever youths

unable our hands ever to rinse!

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.

submissive, yielding, obedient, compliant, tame, biddable, tractable,acquiescent, humble, deferential, timid, unprotesting, unresisting, like a lamb to the slaughter;
