Taking a
railway spike
working in
heat hammered
carefully
slowly creatively
using
skills yet unlearned
while
applying those learned
spending
hours in the heat
trying
to make few errors
soon to
be was a knife
but as
in all of our lives
not always
as we’d want
too much
heat or too little
broke
the blade today
never a
failure in learning
once
more to try again
adding
experiences as one
taking a
railway spike!
