How does
one hold fast to the Rod
swimming
against mainstream
fighting
maelstroms of wickedness
enduring
against laughter’s evil
seeking
a safe harbor with others
yet no
place apart from ridicule
righteousness
and obedience
foreign
to the worldly of today
while
commanded from Father
that to
be otherwise is failure
thus we’re
to persevere always
turning
the other cheek today
while
knowing eternal life
requires
obedience to One
in all
things and at all times
ignoring
the maelstroms awe
swimming
where told by Father
this is
how we hold fast to the Rod!
