The ladder is not endless

however so it may seem

each rung based on truth

obedience and service

as one climbs higher

bottom rungs fall away

unable to be replaced

thus climbing upward

continuing in righteous

knowing the way above

yes many slip often

finding a new ladder

beginning over again

repenting and beginning

mortality is height

each individual alone

while never alone

if righteous/obedient!
