Rising temperatures
rapid
falling
barometers quickly
storms a
brewing warnings
shifting
of the waves awash
ships at
sea now at risk
keeper
of the light house
seeing
all the warning signs
checks
the light and fuel
making
sure the glass clear
scanning
ever the horizon
as
Abraham the desert
one more
– then once more
wanting
all to be in safety
seeking
the one alone
amid the
many out there
whose
seeking the safety
of the
harbor this night!
