Apples and turnips are known

one for it wide variety the other

both prevent famine and scurvy

many are found quite bitter

with no turnips ever sweet

both can be thrown as balls

both can be fed to animals

much like the Scriptures to be

pertaining to ones tastes

apples offer far more options

while the turnip is a turnip

for those who fight the Lord

turnips delight their meal plan

while those found obedient

find an apple of their choice

apples and turnips edible

both prevent famine and scurvy

as do the Scriptures to the soul

while some find the sweet

others only taste the bitter!
