It’s the Sabbath Day

one in seven set aside

dedicated to our Father

as Commanded to all

spoken by the Savior

‘if you love me, keep

my Commandments’

none are excluded

if professing love

believing in Christ

praying in his name

unto his Father

our Father above

are we true

asked over and over

are we Christians

in our actions

or just in voice

(when convenient)

each must ask

thus each answer

for many profess

then wander away

keeping only a couple

when convenient more

disqualifying ourselves

by our own actions

if only on the Sabbath!
