Finding the lost
wanderer
going into the world
to seek
like Abraham one more
time
searching when others
won’t
suffering the heat
and cold
the ridicule of the
worldly
asking here and there
all
extending an
invitation within
offering warmth and
truth
the world large and
lonely
while seemingly filled
isolation grasps all
hope
even when promises
made
each Sabbath Day
distant
when covenant
unfulfilled
laughing at Abraham
too
the world shuts the
doors
blinding the lost
wanderer!
