work done
burning heat
of the day
sweltering
between decks
hearing
the drum beaten
snapping
of the whips
chains chafing
skin
constant
– unending
toiling
in others work
looking
up not at all
freshening
breezes
birds
singing freely
clouds
wafting bye
surely
none is seen
having
chosen wrong
enslaved
to another
losing
sight forever
Zion’s
Road is lost!
