The pumpkin returned
darkness has fallen
some sleeping in drive-in
high water over gunnels
rivers past the flood stage
barriers broken down
damaged bridges gone
out of gas and tires flat
batteries dead/corroded
later and later so found
darkness has fallen
the pumpkin returned!
