“Day After”

It was once tomorrow
now only the day after
once time able to plan
now found already spent
was it once a yesterday
too slowly to respond
for now know not today
but the day after again;
Casting wayward glances
seeking lost moments
wondering of what if
canceling all chances
chilling realities found
having wasted what was
wistfully grasping air
now again the day after!
