Sadly taking years to expose
most times too late to correct
graft, corruption, treason
cover-ups by the media
political favors and pelf
denying citizens the truth
yet incipient to be known
first a little here and there
then others to step forward
some to be killed for same
to protect another’s shame
but wrongdoing apparent
even to the most blind
even to the most blind!
