Going to the woods to cut trees

many and awesome to fall

oaks, cherry, ash, popular

caring not type or even size

chop, Chop, CHOP I’ll do

relentlessly destroying all

but wait if I am an ax only

then none of this can I do

for without the woodsman

I’m nothing more than innate

unable even to move about

glumly recognizing failure

going to the woods to cut trees!
