One day but an infant
seemingly all too quickly
into the spring and summer
then inviting comes fall
where did time go to
seemingly an endless time
moments of memory
moments to forget
treasured lessons lived
then uninvited winter
the frost bones to chill
un-quenching my will
one day but an infant!
