failing to understand
failure to be
inviting the jailer
to lock the jail
meekly to eat the
slop served
to acquiesce to peer
pressure
giving away all that
they have
even that which is
most precious
ignoring the value of
freedoms
compromising ones
morals
giving up on having
virtue
finding endless
blankness
darkness instead of
light
fulfilling the
prophecies of old
a self-fulfilling
wish to submit
meekly to swallow
poison
holding the door the
jailer to lock
inviting failure in
acquiescence
surrendering thinking
not to lose!
