Real life and
horrible truth
mingled in the cries
of men
fear and a
loathsomeness
wanting only to go
home again
knowing victory must
be won
sadly not like in the
movies
politicians then to
give it away
apologizing for freeing
many
allowing tyranny to
rule again
different forms and
new names
while the results
still the same
paying a price
unappreciated
by those who see only
pelf
not like in the
movies today!
